📝 Before You Volunteer (Required by PPS)
To ensure a safe environment for all students, Portland Public Schools (PPS) requires every volunteer to complete a few quick steps from the PPS Volunteer page:

🧾 Submit a Volunteer Application & Background Check
You’ll receive an email once your background check clears — approval lasts three years for any PPS school.
Please bring a government-issued ID the first time you volunteer on campus.
