Unlock the World of Reading!

Welcome to Oregon Battle of the Books (OBOB), an engaging statewide reading initiative proudly supported by the Oregon Association of School Libraries, in collaboration with a Library Services and Technology Act grant. Our program invites students, from 3rd to 5th grade, irrespective of their reading abilities, to embark on a literary journey filled with high-quality literature, showcasing a diverse range of literary styles and perspectives.

OBOB’s mission is to encourage and recognize students who enjoy reading, to broaden reading interests, to increase reading comprehension, promote academic excellence, and to promote cooperative learning and teamwork among students.

  • February 6th 2024 – 5th grade battles
